Technology

Superintensive Orchards
VamilAgro's orchards are planted on some of the most fertile soils on the planet ("black earth" or "chernozem"), its yields enhanced by intensive and superintensive systems. The tree saplings are of Italian provenance, celebrated for their quality and resilience. The company combines high nutritional value with faultless efficiency.

Protective Systems
VamilAgro's trees are covered by anti-hail netting and antifreeze systems. These protective structures ensure apples are guarded against environmental stressors including excessive sunlight, heavy precipitation, hailstorms, birds and insects. The orchard is also protected from harsh winter temperatures by anti-freeze systems. The netting enables consistently high yields while preserving the product's aesthetic qualities.
Micro
Irrigation
Perched on the verdant shores of the Prut river, the orchard boasts a 2000 m3 water basin and pumping station. These form an efficient micro-irrigation drip system which eliminates water waste and minimises nutrient loss.

Social Responsibility
VamilAgro provides seasonal employment to hundreds of locals, paying fair wages and providing transportations and lunches free of charge. The company also donates apples to those who need them most, from school children to refugees.
